OUR STORY
Arise Physical Therapy started out as not just another PT business, but a dream of giving clients one-on-one attention and care. Justin has always wanted Arise to be a place that looks at your body as a unit.
Arise Physical Therapy began in 2019 as a concierge practice but quickly shifted providing services in downtown White Plains in the midst of a global pandemic.
Our founder Justin Vaidyan, DPT has been local to the White Plains area for a long time and knew he wanted Arise to find its home here. Arise first found its roots in the gym called The Fusion House where they have been a great partner over the past few years as a private training gym.
Fall of 2021 we made the move to our first ever permanent location! Arise has found its home at 136 W Post Road in White Plains where we have several treatment rooms and a small gym. We are also happy to have parking on site for all of our clients! Come on in and have your initial evaluation with us!
ALLOW US TO TAKE COMPLETE AND BEST CARE OF YOUR INJURIES, PAIN AND MEDICAL CONDITION, LET THE HEALING PROCESS BEGIN
Justin is amazing and super knowledgeable. I always leave Arise feeling brand new and like my problem was taken care of. Justin always sets his clients up with a regimen of stretches to take home and do, which is very helpful! I always feel at home and welcomed with their amazing staff, quality services, and clean facility!

One of the best experiences I’ve had with a PT. Everything was handled professionally, quickly, and I felt like a priority! Sent 5 of my friends there already and they love it here too!

I love this place had a lot of mobility issue in my hips and ankles, but Justin has fixed me up. He also doesn't just fix you he corrects any form issues when lifting and gives you exercises to do on your own to speed up the process. All in all I know when I'm feeling discomfort Justin is the guy I contact!!!

OUR CLIENTS' FEEDBACK
MEET THE TEAM
I’ve had chronic lower back issues for the past five years, and after only one session Justin, he not only helped fix my back, but also taught me fantastic preventative injury movements that have changed my health and wellness for the better. Without a doubt, he’s the best physical therapist I’ve ever had a chance to work with. 10/10 I would recommend you book your session with him today!
POWERLIFTING
Powerlifting is the true strength sport for power athletes. It is composed of three attempts on three kinds of lifts, namely, the bench press, squat, and deadlift.
Physical therapy can help powerlifters prevent injuries, recover from injuries, improve technique, enhance mobility and flexibility, and optimize strength and conditioning. It plays a valuable role in supporting powerlifters' overall performance and longevity in the sport.
CROSSFIT
CrossFit is a high-intensity fitness program that combines elements of weightlifting, cardiovascular exercises, gymnastics, and functional movements.
Physical therapy can improve CrossFit performance by addressing mobility issues and enhancing functional strength. Physical therapists can provide personalized assessments and strategies to enhance CrossFit athletes' overall strength, endurance, and flexibility.
ACTIVE RELEASE TECHNIQUE
Active Release Technique, is a non-invasive manual therapy technique that works to correct soft tissue restrictions that cause pain and mobility issues. The goal is to break down scar tissue and adhesions in order to optimize function in the body.
The technique can be applied to both acute and chronic conditions involving the muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves and fascia.
KINESIO TAPING
So I'm sure you all have seen tons of athletes tape on them...and it actually looks pretty cool!
We use Kinesio Taping for decreasing inflammation in a certain area whether it be the neck or arm, It pretty much lifts the tissue up and kinda decompresses it. KT can also be used to improve overall sense of joint position and correct posture.
MOVEMENT
In movement we tend to focus on quality to improve performance, this can be in any given sport focusing on speed, strength, and power, or equally, it could be improving performance in real-life scenarios, such as standing up with ease for elderly clients.
Next we focus on preventing injury, developing better movement patterns helps to prevent injury in athletes which can help accelerate their career.
Weightlifting is a strength sport that involves lifting weights, typically barbells, in two specific movements: the snatch and the clean and jerk.
Physical therapy offers a range of benefits to weightlifters, including injury prevention, rehabilitation, technique improvement, flexibility and mobility enhancement, strength and conditioning support, pain management, and post-competition recovery.
